For thousands of children in Romania, Easter Holidays do not mean lavish meals, warm cakes or eagerly awaited gifts. It means deprivation, cold and unanswered questions. It means parents who, despite all their efforts, cannot give their little ones the joy they deserve.
201 vulnerable families , from 8 marginalized communities.
Supporting the Popârlan family – support that means safety
The Popârlan family from Tătaru commune, Brăila county, is a single-parent family, in which the 3 children are raised exclusively by their father.
The mother is no longer present in the family life, and the responsibility of raising and caring for the children falls daily on the shoulders of a single parent. In the absence of constant support and sufficient resources, every day is a struggle for the basics: food, stability, safety.
For the children, material deprivations are compounded by the absence of a parent, and for the father, the worries of tomorrow become a burden difficult to bear alone.
Campaign Objectives
Supporting 201 families from 8 marginalized communities
by providing food, basic products, cleaning and hygiene packages, necessary for the Easter holidays.
Supporting the Popârlan family – support that means safety
They shared with us simple but essential needs, things that for many of us are natural, but for them would completely change their daily lives. hygiene, necessary for the Easter holiday period.
Reducing the impact of social vulnerability
among direct beneficiaries, through interventions that respond to real and urgent needs (food, shelter, safety).
Mobilizing the community and partners (individual donors, companies, volunteers)
around a common cause, demonstrating that together we can bring about significant change
Strengthening the message of solidarity and hope,
specific to the Easter period, through actions that restore dignity and the feeling of "you are not alone" to families in difficulty.
