For ASSA, “…I have my star too!” is not just a campaign, it is a challenge! We want to be lucky stars, to brighten lives and to fulfill wishes!
We were all children. We dreamed, we hoped, we made plans, we wished we could write our own story, following the script we had thought of.
Because we know that the magic of childhood lies precisely in that age-specific audacity to believe that everything is possible, to firmly believe that everyone has their own star that guides their path, we want to restore the power of hope to those children whom the hardships of life have prematurely forced to look at the world with the eyes of an adult and to abandon their dreams.
Since stars often hide behind clouds, we, at ASSA, assume the role of shining stars for all children whose steps have carried them on dark paths for too long.
Cicu's Story...

Cicu, a 12-year-old boy, left on the road with his mother, has a dream: that life could look different if we, all the rest of us, understood and felt that goodness and beauty are all that matters in this world!
Cicu and his mother live in a social settlement offered with love and kindness by those who have understood that indifference is not the answer, but involvement and solidarity!
Cicu has a dream! To be able to train in a center or in a football club, where he can freely practice his soul game, the game that makes him forget all the hardships and feel fulfilled.
“I want so much to be able to play, so that then I can offer, in turn, to be able to make a team with other children like me, here, in this settlement!” says Cicu shyly, but with a sparkle in his eyes that betrays his emotion.
Through his attitude, Cicu doesn’t just offer those around him an example, he offers a lesson! The precious lesson of kindness, generosity, and innocence of soul, which were not altered by the hardships he went through!
You can help, support, and smile at those around you even if you have nothing… It costs us nothing to be human, but it can offer us so much!
