Initially, we set out for the village of Merii-Petchii in the municipality of Nuci, Ilfov county, with the idea of collecting the letters for Santa Claus written by the children of five disadvantaged families, but once we arrived on the spot, I understood and especially felt , that much more is needed – help, solidarity and involvement.
Today we will talk to you about the Bilea family, consisting of the two parents and two children – a 4-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy.
The mother, Ana-Maria Bilea, stays at home and takes care of the children and the household, and the father, Bilea Cristian-Gelu, works to support the family.
The little boy, Denis-Andrei, has a speech deficit, which is why he needs sustained specialist therapy. The therapeutic sessions take place 3 times a week and cost 900 lei per month, to which is added the transport, an amount which for the family involves a very large financial effort, but which, from the little she had, she gives without blinking an eye, because she depends on the evolution of Denis.
The conditions in which the Bilea family lives are very difficult: the house needs to be rebuilt and strengthened, and they need appliances and furniture.
Above all, they need a clean and warm home, in which children can grow and develop harmoniously.
Currently they all live in one room. The life of the whole family unfolds there.
They have almost none…they only have each other, and love gives them strength to look forward with hope. Don’t give up and don’t consider giving up the fight!

The parents did not write anything, although they too have a burning desire – to rebuild their house to give their children the safe and welcoming home they need!
