As is Cicu.
Cicu, a boy of only 12 years old, left on the road with his mother, has a dream: that life can look different if we, all the rest of us, would understand and feel that the good and the beautiful are all that matters in this world!
Cicu and his mother live in a social settlement offered with love and kindness by those who understood that indifference is not the answer, but involvement and solidarity!
Cicu has a dream! To be able to train in a center or a football club, where he can practice his soul game unhindered, the game that makes him forget all the difficulties and feel fulfilled.
“I want so much to be able to play, so that then I can offer, in turn, to be able to make a team with other children like me, here, in this settlement!” says Cicu shyly, but with a glint in his eyes that betrays his emotion.
Through his attitude, Cicu doesn’t just offer those around him an example, he offers a lesson! The precious lesson of kindness, generosity, soul innocence, which were not altered by the hardships he went through!
You can help, you can support and you can smile at those around you even if you have nothing… It costs us nothing to be human, but it can give us so much!
