What are our approaches?

The social approach

We carry out social surveys in advance to identify:

Medical and social needs, material support needs, moral support needs, areas with high risk of vulnerability, implemented together with local authorities with responsibilities in the social sphere.

We build and implement the reintegration plan for vulnerable children:

  • we adapt campus facilities to the needs of vulnerable children
  • we coordinate with family / legal guardians / doctors / authorities, in the children’s reintegration program

We apply the social program, adapted to the needs of vulnerable children, on campus:

  • personal development courses
  • therapeutic reintegration activities
  • discussion circles with social specialists
  • play therapies appropriate to the group’s age, with the aim of developing children’s social interaction
  • disconnection and reconnection activities,
  • group membership
  • skill discovery and development workshops

The therapeutic approach

Play therapy activities

Role-playing games, attention games, games for developing the senses, games to consolidate physical skills, coordination games, socialization games, art workshops, etc.

Group therapy

It is suitable for children who suffer from social problems (e.g. shyness, feelings of inferiority, etc.) and has the following benefits: it develops a sense of belonging to the group, discovers in each child a sense of uniqueness, develops the free expression of ideas and encourages socialization.

Individual therapy

One-on-one work encourages the child with social difficulties to express themselves freely. It is important to create a space where each child feels safe and to use communication tools appropriate to the child’s age, social and psychological background.

Play therapy

  • The concept will cover all other types of therapy

  • Games/toys will become communication tools for therapists when working with children

  • It will help children express their emotions or fears more easily and overcome emotional blockages more easily.

It is scientifically proven that play is a suitable framework for applying other types of therapies, becoming a strong bridge between the child and the therapist.

Family therapy

  • Child-family or multi-family therapeutic groups are created and workshops are organized in which the parents of the beneficiary children are involved.

  • Excursions are organized in the campus area, but also outside it, dedicated to the family

  • Nutrition courses are held dedicated to families

  • Sports competitions are organized in which teams are made up of families

  • This type of therapy will help integrate the vulnerable child into his own family, but also adapt the entire family to social challenges outside it.

An illness or shortcomings affect not only the child, but also the entire family and its social environment. Not infrequently, the child with serious conditions loses developmental stages, breaks away from the community, has learning and adaptation difficulties and experiences a series of problems.

Play therapy can fill these gaps, completing and rebuilding them, becoming the way through which the child can regain his childhood.
