Assa’s October activities

Dear supporters of Good Deeds,

October represented a month of opportunities and Big Dreams. In addition to the important activities we carried out, we managed to put on paper several valuable projects dedicated to children from vulnerable communities, which are to be carried out between November and December. In the following lines, we would like to share with you the notable events we have participated in and their impact on the children who need our help.

The ASSA caravan arrives in Arad

In the first part of the month, more precisely between October 10-11, the ASSA Foundation set off in a special caravan to Arad, where it had the opportunity to hold three major events: the ASSA forum, the workshop with parents and the trip dedicated to typical children and atypicals from vulnerable communities. Our Good Projects have been designed to support the harmonious, healthy and balanced development of children from disadvantaged backgrounds and have attracted the attention and support of the local community. Together with special people, partners and collaborators, we shared experiences and perspectives with the aim of identifying concrete ways to provide support to children struggling with illness, disability or life’s difficulties.

The day of October 11 was dedicated to a trip focused on sports and education. The children from Integra Arad Ong, from the Day and Recovery Center for mentally disabled children “SIMBA” and from the “Rainbow” Complex within the Arad Social Assistance Directorate enjoyed a day full of joy – walking in the air free, an extremely interesting and educational visit to the Arad Museum Complex, games, basketball demonstration and fun in honor, with the wheelchair basketball team from Clubul Sportiv Temerarii-Arad.

“Social Moms” fair, Halloween edition – The joy of creativity through the drawing and face painting workshop

At the end of October, we had the joy of participating as partners in the #Picnicînfamilie, a fair organized by the Social Moms community, the Halloween edition. It was a seasonally themed event, full of color and imagination, where the children enjoyed special moments with our team.

At the ASSA booth, children were able to draw Halloween-themed figurines such as pumpkins, ghosts and bats, developing their creative and coordination skills. Dressed up as various Halloween characters, the little ones also stopped by the face painting workshop, thus contributing to the creation of an atmosphere full of gaiety and excitement.

We thank all partners, volunteers and donors who contributed to the success of these activities. With your support, we managed to bring smiles to children’s faces and offer them unforgettable moments of joy.
